Been a while

Hey all! Been a while since I've posted something here.

Well life has been very good. We've lately been just workin' on packin' up all our stuff and movin' back in with my parents until we figure out our next move. It's quite stressful at times, but God has been there for me. Funny thing (this is gonna sound so cheesy, but what the hay!), I was talkin' to my mom on the phone and I notice two Doves/pigeons (whatever they were) just chillin on my deck, and for some reason that just was comforting to me. Reminded me of when the dove brought back the olive branch to the arch to let Moses know the worst was over. Made me feel like there's good times ahead and I shouldn't worry. Everything is gonna turn out fine. God always knows how to cheer me up, even if others don't get it. :-D

We went for a walk at Boiling Springs the other day. It was lovely. We just wanted to get out of the house and it was semi warm so we fed the ducks and had a picnic with family.

Me and my mom crossed off another state from our 5K in 50 goal. We ran at SVU with my brother to raise money for his college.

(vid to come)

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY

For Saint Patrick's day we just celebrated by eating green. We started out the day by eating "green eggs and ham" and a pistachio muffin (substituted turkey for the ham, we didn't have any ham.)

Then we had tortellini with pesto and steamed snap peas for dinner, then green jello for dessert! Earlier that week I had been craving a Shamrock shake so Scott brought home mint ice-cream and the works and made me a shamrock shake, what a sweetheart.

Just this past Saturday I had a photoshoot for an upcoming makeup artist at the capital. I'm definitely not used to that much makeup being on my face. Took 5 makeup wipes to get my face completely clean, even then, I felt I needed to take a shower.

I'm not just sitting there with my eyes closed, I'm actually sitting on a stool getting my makeup done by the gal in front of me.
She used a bronzer on me (literally there were 5 layers of goo or some sort of concealer on my face), looked greasy close up.

Some snaps Shaquay took

And here are a few of the shots:

The look, after the shoot, so I smeared it a little. She used purple on my eyes cuz I had this crazy multicolored dress on.

Half off, half makeup

Yay, no makeup on my face anymore thanks to makeup wipes!

After the shoot, I took Scott to strawberry square and we had fun looking at the shops and trying on clothes. We also stopped at the mall on the way home and Scott got me a super cute outfit that was on sale! When I get around to it I'll take a pic and post it.

Sunday we had Stake Conference and they announce another stake (now it's Chambersburg, York, and Harrisburg). Then we went home and made Crepes for Lunch.

PS: I went back through the blog and updated some vids,
