Chillin' at Washburn and Finals

So today I was working at Washburn University (for their United Way Campaign), selling T-shirts at their "Scorch on the Porch" event, raising money for United Way.
Scott was also there taking his first final, and joined me afterwards. We both got pretty sun burnt from sitting outside so long. But loved being able to spend time together.

Selling T-shirts and Raising Money's

Part of Washburn's campaign is the decorated "Trash Basket" auction.
Here's the one United Way Decorated (Shilo, our tech guy actually did it)

My arm got really burnt :-(

Lovely weekend

Finally the weather was nice enough that we could really enjoy this last week and the weekend.

Thursday I attended a friends baby shower, she's due in a few weeks! So excited for her, got me really excited about our little one as well.

Friday after work Scott and I had to get out of the house, so we walked around Gage park and enjoyed the outdoors.

Trying to see the fish.

The tree that you would see in a haunted film.

Soooo cute, goslings.

This is Scott's favorite statue in the whole park.

Saturday we slept in....we really needed it.....and worked on our yard the rest of the day.

Finally cleaning out the gutters.

Getting started on our herb garden. We just got our Mint plants planted so far.

Next week start Scott's finals! And the end of his first year at lawschool. He's almost a 2L! :-)
