Almost Baby and Mom's visit

So no baby yet. But my mom made it out here safely :-). She will be visiting until October 21st, so lets hope baby comes by then!

First day she came I had to work. The next day I had to work again but only a half day since I had a prenatal appointment. Mom got to meet my midwife and doula. Then we ran some errands and had some yummy cream soda floats.

Saturday (Oct 11th) we ran around yard saleing for a dresser/changing table for the nursery and finally found one for $10! :-) Then we took naps.

That evening we all went to Gary Berries' Pumkin patch, which was a lot of fun.

I wanted to bring this little guy home with me....super adorable goat that didn't fit in with the others.

 Bunny village!

Haha, love this pic.

Giantsville

Pig races!

Giant tube slide.  I couldn't go on it. :-(

Hay ride

Corn Maze, apparently my mom's first time through a corn maze.

End of 39th week of pregnancy. Come on baby boy!

Playing the waiting game for baby. My mom has been such a help! She's made sure I've been fed and have everything I need for getting ready for baby. It's been really nice having her around.

Work, Prenatal Appointment, and Mini Date.

So Scott and I have pretty much been working opposite schedules, so it's been sad not seeing him as much. He is hoping to move up soon in Home Depot and get some better hours, so we're crossing our fingers.

I finished my "big project/event" at work. It's so nice to have it all done and be able to "relax" a little before baby comes.

If you would like to see more about the RSVP Recognition breakfast, go to the RSVP facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/RSVP-of-Shawnee-and-Douglas-Counties/153807817965679 . There's some news and radio coverage plus pics. :-) In the pic above, I'm with Edna, our eldest retired RSVP Volunteer. She is 105 years old.

Thursday my work surprised me with a babyshower! :-)

This was the "Big" gift from everyone at work. A carseat/stroller travel system! So great! Scott was adorable and got all excited while he was putting it together, this is all making having a baby more real to him.

I also had to travel to Lawrence on Thursday for my prenatal appointment, so I took off work early and Scott was able to come with me. Baby is doing good as far as we can tell, hopefully he isn't too comfortable in there to where he won't come out.

After my appointment, Scott and I walked around downtown Lawrence for a mini date. Scott took me out to Sushi :-)

Don't worry, I only ordered cooked rolls, and meats I am allowed to eat.

Dessert was at this cute candy shop, so many choices! We got some HUGE truffles. Scott spoiled me a little since I've been feeling bleh.

Walking in Downtown Lawrence, neat book shop behind us.

...Still counting down till baby. My mom will be here next weekend!!!!! So excited. And General Conference this weekend. :-)
