2 year anniversary of first date! (June 25)

Today marks the two year anniversary of Scott's and my first date (at the Lagoon theme park in Utah). We're making it a tradition to celebrate and remember that day by going to a theme park each year. Last year we went to Hershey Park, and this year we went to Dorney Park. It was so much fun and the perfect day to go! There were virtually no lines for a lot of the rides and so many things to chose from. Scott of course coaxed me to go on the scariest rides they had in the park. The first one he wanted to go on was call the Steel Force, it's like a 10 minuet climb in the beginning then a freakishly huge drop (even scarier, it doesn't have the body harnesses, just lap seat belts). So I thought I'd get this one over with first and we'd ride some more smooth lighter fun rides the rest of the day....wrong...we hit ALL the scary rides, but I had fun as always. I was never big on the scary rides and never would've experienced all the rides I have if it weren't for Scott. It's been a blast!
First ride of the day! Steel Force!

AHHH! He's gonna get you Scott!

These thing were so cool because they actually moved and were rubbery so looked like they had skin...was really neat (they had a whole dinosaur world for an extra five bucks but we just looked at the ones out front and skipped the rest.

Don't feed the Dinosaurs...

This one is called "Possessed", it has two towers like that and you go back and forth, up and down. When you get to the top it screams at you. Haha, my voice was horse after this one.

Having such a great day together. They also had a big water park, which was so much fun! We got soaked...and accidently got Scott's wallet soaked but nothing permanently damaged. We did have to pay for our Rita's Ice with soaked cash, poor cashier. While we were waiting in line at Ritas the girl in front of us (teenager) turned around and told us she thought we looked really good together and we are a cute couple. Totally made my day :-).

We even had a caricature done of us:

CUTE diner!!! Had two old fashioned cars out front, a baby blue and pink one. Reminded me a little of Cars, the movie
.
We ate at Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. DELICIOUS!

The end of a very fun day, we were exhausted....

Date Night

Saturday 6/23/13-
Today was just so lovely. I don't get to spend a lot of time with Scott these days since I work weekends. But today I only worked until 2:30, so Scott and I had a date day. We were able to relax and lounge around my parent's pool. Then Scott took me out for sushi at Mikados. I found another favorite roll! It's called the Wasabi Roll (salmon, avacado, cream cheese, garnished with green fish eggs), so delicious. Scott got the smoked salmon roll, fantastic. After dinner we hung out at the mall, looking for shorts for the summer, then went home and made homemade raspberry lemonade. I Love Scott. Such a lovely evening. :-)

Kayaking and Crab feast!

So this Saturday I was blessed with the day off of work, Yay! So we all decided to go kayaking, since we've been wanting to go before we move. We packed up and headed out in the morning. I used kids spray sun lotion (SPF 50) and didn't get burnt at all! It was lovely! No sun damage. When we got home we decided last minuet to have a crab feast, so we got all ready for that and pigged out all evening. :-)

yup.....

I made delicious sour-cream n' onion hush puppies

Tiny even joined us

Scott made homemade ice-cream..mmmm

Haha! "Mr. Napkinhead"

Sunday we let our baby squirrels and opossum go in the woods because they were big enough and healthy enough to survive on their own.
