Fireworks!...but not for 4th of July
So we had a nice weekend! Saturday, Scott and I got to sleep in and watch some "cartoons" (Sad that he's got me hooked on the "Young super hero series"). And we watched the newest episode of Avatar! I LOVE that series!
Anyways, we got up and cleaned a little before heading over to lunch with our family and friends. After lunch we all went our separate ways (Scott and I shopped a little for things we needed) then met back up again for the fireworks that night. It was so much fun! :-) They had a band and games and a great firework show. It was good to just chill with our family and friends.

Samm's Graduation Weekend
So this weekend was a lot of fun! :-)
Saturday Morning Scott and I went to a local flea market. We saw some interesting things and got tomatoes and peppers for our garden! :-) Yay!
Scott found this and liked it...I just rolled my eyes, we did not purchase it.
Then we made the long drive to Samm's graduation.
Sunday was nice and relaxing, we finished planting our garden on our deck.

Grandma even came, she is sooo adorable. |
We were super excited about the balloons. |
After the graduation we went to get Chinese. Then Scott and I ran errands the rest of the night, and finished it off by watching Kung Fu Panda 2, which was quite entertaining. :-)

Matron of Honor Gushing
Alrighty, this is back tracking but I wanted to
show how wonderful my Matron of Honor,
Stacey, was at my wedding.
She flew out 3 weeks before the wedding to help with everything. She threw me my bridal shower, which was absolutely fantastic. I had a black and white themed (inspired by penguins) bridal shower. Sushi was also served there, one of my all time favorite foods! Games were played, we all had a blast.
Stacey also threw me a Bachelorette party, which I needed so badly. I was such a nervous wreck the day before the wedding...heck, the whole week before the wedding. I needed some de-stress time and Stacey knew exactly how to do that. The girls and I went out to get some VIRGIN pina coladas and strawberry daqueries (sp?). We talked and had a blast, then went driving with the windows down blaring music, dancin' in the car. We even poked our heads out the sun roof and announced to everyone i was getting married! Fun times. :-)
Stacey helped me prepare for the reception. |
This is when they introduced Stacey as the Matron of Honor. |
She's amazing :-)
PS: This morning I woke up at 7:30....when I'm supposed to be on the road for work, got out the door in 4 minuets, that's a record! And I made it to work on time :-).

Finally the Weekend (and I can't move :-()
It's finally the weekend! I've been looking forward to having time to spend with my husband! The weekend started out wonderfully! I got the internal job I wanted at an office just 8 minuets from my house! I wasn't feeling sick anymore, I got the groceries that I needed to make some delicious meals for my wonderful husband. I got home friday and decided to clean up the house and make it nice. Then I started the Pita dinner I was super excited for Scott to try. I got the laundry started and chicken finished when all the sudden my back seized up. I fell on the floor and couldn't move...I had pinched a nerve between my shoulder blades. Just my luck. So now I am immobile and can't do anything fun. Scott is such a wonderful sport about it though. We had a "Monk marathon" watching night, ate some yummy popcorn and chocolate milk, then went to bed.
Saturday Scott was such a dear and got all the errands done for me. I finished making the pita pockets (For recipe see MilkandHoney Blog: http://ginnymaemilkandhoney.blogspot.com/p/cooking.html )
Sunday was a good day. We went to church, came home and relaxed. For dinner I made Hawaiian Hay Stacks (for recepi see MilkandHoney blog:http://ginnymaemilkandhoney.blogspot.com/p/cooking.html ).

Memorial Day WEEKEND!
Scott
and I had a yard sale this weekend and made a profit of about $50 in 2
hours! Not bad at all. We also got a mirror for our room for $2.
Scott
and I also had the opportunity to go to my good friend's wedding
reception this weekend. They look absolutely perfectly happy. I'm so so
so happy for both of them. I put all our fun into a video. Enjoy. :-)
Memorial Day was a lot of fun! Scott and I really wanted to get out and spend more time together so we decided to go to Hershey Chocolate World and Zoo America. It was a lot of fun! Scott got to experience the Hershey chocolate tour for the first time and we got to walk around and see some neat animals. :-)
