Topsail Island

Went to Topsail Island in North Carolina for a week with my family. It was a very nice trip. We left PA July 27th and Got back to PA August 3rd.
"Virginia is for Lovers" (On our way to North Carolina)

This was a farmers market right next to a gas station we stopped at on the way. It was soooo cute, and the guy was so friendly. I got a white peach there, which I've never tasted before. I want so badly to live in a small town :-).

Our first day there, walking along the beach.

Scott's and my room/out on our deck.

Ready to head down to the water. :-)

Woke up one morning, This was on my desk. :-)

Enjoying the beach

Our sand castle

Our street/ beach house (ours is the tallest one in the middle)

Sunrise on the beach (There are "seams" in the picture because I took a bunch and just pasted them together.)

Gorgeous skies the whole week and some fantastic thunder storms.
There was this neat hangout just down the street from us with mini-golf, bike rentals, ice-cream, and an arcade. I actually beat the high score I the wack a' shark one! (the score on the left is mine, the score on the right is the high score, which I had just reset in this picture! :-) ) I was so excited!

Scott with all the tickets we won.

The local aquarium came a gave a presentation on the crocodile family. Above is one of their back bone/scales (it acts as a solar panel to keep them warm). Below is one of their teeth (they actually are hallow because they grow teeth within teeth so if they lose one they won't have a gap.)

Night time stroll along the beach. Scott's so cute. :-)

At the "Beach Bunny" :-)

Hahahahah! SuperSam....
