We finally got the crib together and I am working on sewing the crib bumpers/baby bedding. It's been a slow process since my belly gets in the way a lot these days.
We have been blessed to have a very fruitful garden this year.
We actually managed to grow a reasonable sized honey dew melon. I'm super excited about that, and can't wait to eat it! :-)
First "Big harvest" were some tomatoes and a cucumber:
Then the bigger tomatoes ripened and more cucumbers. :-)
We even have two butternut squash growing out there!
Our Basil in our Herb garden is doing quite well too, so we've been able to have some delicious meals with our produce this year:
Tomato basil stuffed chicken, mmmmmm.
We also made homemade pesto for our tortellini, so much better than store bought!
And today we had "GoughGosh"/ Tabouli, using fresh produce from our garden.
Yesterday Scott and I cleaned out the attic and garage, and had a yard sale. We made more than we expected to on the junk we have: $40! Then spent it on things we needed to fix the house....too bad I couldn't use it on a nice Sushi dinner, but it's good to be able to work on the house.
After yesterday I am completely wiped out, so I plan to relax the rest of the day because there's lots more to do tomorrow!
That food looks delicious! Great job with the garden and using the produce and herbs deliciously! :)
